Vs. is the second studio album from Pearl Jam, originally released in 1993. Following the breakthrough success of Ten, the Seattle band returned with a rawer, heavier and more confrontational record, combining grunge and alternative rock with the intensity of their live performances.

The album features some of Pearl Jam’s most enduring songs, including Daughter, Go, Animal, Dissident and Elderly Woman Behind the Counter in a Small Town. From the aggression of Blood and Leash to the reflective closing track Indifference, Vs. captures the band expanding their sound while retaining the urgency of their debut.

Vs. marked Pearl Jam’s first album with producer Brendan O’Brien, beginning a long-running collaboration between the band and producer. The album also features drummer Dave Abbruzzese and remains a key release from Pearl Jam’s early catalogue.

This 30th Anniversary Vinyl 2LP edition was released in 2023 and presents the original 12-track album remastered for vinyl across two 180g black vinyl records playing at 45 RPM. The expanded four-side configuration gives each side three tracks and is presented in a gatefold sleeve.
