Queen - Queen II (LP) (180g Vinyl Record)

Queen II develops the layered guitars, vocal arrangements and theatrical songwriting that would become central to Queen’s identity. Released in 1974, the album moves beyond the debut’s heavier rock framework into more connected sequences, with Brian May and Freddie Mercury taking different approaches across its sides.

Father to Son and White Queen introduce the first side’s broad textures, while Ogre Battle, The Fairy Feller’s Master-Stroke and The March of the Black Queen build the second into a dense run of linked ideas. Seven Seas of Rhye provides a more immediate finish without breaking the album’s dramatic character.

This 180g LP edition contains the original eleven tracks, preserving the contrast between the two sides.
