Quincy Jones – Body Heat (180g Vinyl LP)

Originally released in 1974, Body Heat is one of Quincy Jones' defining albums and a landmark fusion of jazz, funk, soul and R&B. Richly arranged and effortlessly groove-driven, the record helped shape the sophisticated sound that would become central to late-'70s soul and contemporary R&B.

Featuring standout tracks including "Body Heat", "Everything Must Change", "Soul Saga (Song Of The Buffalo Soldier)" and "If I Ever Lose This Heaven", the album balances deep funk grooves with lush orchestration, jazz improvisation and soulful vocal performances.

The sessions feature an extraordinary cast of musicians and singers including Herbie Hancock, Dave Grusin, Billy Preston, Hubert Laws, Minnie Riperton, Al Jarreau, Leon Ware and Bernard Purdie, showcasing Quincy Jones' remarkable ability to bring together world-class players into a cohesive, distinctive sound.

This Remastered 180g Vinyl LP edition was released in 2025 and presents the original album on heavyweight black vinyl, bringing renewed clarity and depth to one of Jones' most influential recordings.
