Rage Against The Machine - Rage Against The Machine XX (LP 20th Anniv. Vinyl Record)

Rage Against the Machine’s debut combines hip-hop phrasing, heavy guitar riffs and sharply political lyrics with a rhythm section built around groove. Originally released in 1992, it established the group’s identity through the interaction of Zack de la Rocha’s voice and Tom Morello’s unconventional guitar vocabulary.

Bombtrack, Killing in the Name and Bullet in the Head give the first side a confrontational momentum, while Know Your Enemy and Wake Up carry that intensity into the second. The ten-song sequence remains focused, with quieter passages used to set up the next surge rather than interrupt it.

This XX twentieth-anniversary edition presents the original album on a single 180g black vinyl LP. It contains the ten studio tracks rather than an expanded multi-record bonus programme.
