Red Hot Chili Peppers - Around The World (LP Vinyl Record)

Around the World collects live performances of Red Hot Chili Peppers songs, bringing the band’s combination of funk rhythms, melodic guitar and contrasting vocal styles into a concert setting. It is a live/broadcast compilation, rather than a studio album of the same name.

The selection moves between Californication-era songs such as Around the World and Scar Tissue and earlier material including Give It Away and Under the Bridge. That mixture shows how the group’s more melodic writing sits alongside the harder, rhythm-driven sound that first brought them a wider audience.

This Cult Legends release is pressed on yellow vinyl, with ten live selections divided across two sides. No claim is made that these recordings use the studio album masters.
