Regurgitator - Invader (Vinyl LP)

INVADER is the 2024 studio album from Brisbane alternative rock favourites Regurgitator. Arriving three decades into the band's career, the record finds Quan Yeomans, Ben Ely and Peter Kostic continuing their characteristically unpredictable mix of alternative rock, punk, electronic music and irreverent pop while taking aim at power, consumerism, colonialism and contemporary culture.

The album features Cocaine Runaway, Pest, INVADER and Tsunami, alongside This Is Not a Pop Song featuring Peaches, The Bastard Poem That Nobody Wanted featuring Tyson Yunkaporta and Dirty Old Men featuring JK-47. Across 14 tracks, Regurgitator move rapidly between abrasive guitars, electronics, humour and pointed social commentary.

INVADER was predominantly self-produced, recorded and mixed by Quan Yeomans and Ben Ely. Rather than settling into nostalgia, the album captures the restless and experimental approach that has characterised Regurgitator since their emergence from Brisbane's alternative music scene in the 1990s.

This Vinyl LP edition presents the complete 14-track album across two sides, released in Australia through Valve Records and ABC Music.
