Rihanna - Rated R (Vinyl 2LP)

Rated R is the fourth studio album from Rihanna, originally released in 2009. Marking a darker and more confrontational chapter in her career, the album moves beyond the polished pop of her earlier releases into a mix of R&B, hip hop, rock and electronic influences, pairing bold production with themes of heartbreak, resilience and independence.

The 13-track album features some of Rihanna's most memorable singles, including Rude Boy, Russian Roulette, Hard, Rockstar 101 and Te Amo. Other highlights include Wait Your Turn, Fire Bomb, G4L and the atmospheric closing track The Last Song.

Rated R brought together an extensive team of producers and collaborators while showcasing a tougher, more experimental side of Rihanna's sound. Guest appearances include Jeezy on Hard, Slash on Rockstar 101 and will.i.am on Photographs, adding hip hop and rock influences to the album's dark contemporary R&B foundation.

This 2017 vinyl reissue presents the complete 13-track album across two black vinyl LPs, housed in a gatefold sleeve.
