Run The Jewels - RTJ CU4TRO (2LP) Vinyl Record

RTJ CU4TRO reimagines Run the Jewels’ fourth album through the work of Latin American artists and producers. Released digitally in 2022, the project carries the original performances into new rhythmic and musical settings rather than simply presenting the same tracks with minor production changes.

Versions by Mexican Institute of Sound, Bomba Estéreo, Toy Selectah and Son Rompe Pera draw on different musical traditions, creating new contrasts around Killer Mike and El-P’s vocals. Curated by El-P and Nick Hook, the album gives the source material a different sense of movement while retaining its confrontational energy.

This black vinyl two-record edition presents the remix programme across four sides, including the closing Yankee Y El Valente (Tema).
