Seether - Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum (Etched Vinyl 2LP)

Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum is the eighth studio album from South African rock band Seether, originally released in 2020. Its title translates from Latin as "If you want peace, prepare for war", setting the tone for an album that combines the band's trademark post-grunge and alternative metal sound with dark atmosphere, heavy riffs and the melodic songwriting of frontman Shaun Morgan.

The 13-track album features Dangerous, Bruised And Bloodied and Wasteland, alongside hard-hitting tracks including Beg, Dead And Done and Pride Before The Fall. From the heavier moments to the more atmospheric Drift Away and closing track Written In Stone, the album showcases both sides of Seether's sound.

Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum was produced by Shaun Morgan and engineered and mixed by Matt Hyde. Recorded in Nashville during December 2019 and January 2020, it also marked guitarist Corey Lowery's first studio album as a member of Seether, joining Morgan, Dale Stewart and John Humphrey in the band's line-up.

This vinyl edition presents the complete original 13-track album across two black vinyl LPs. The music is spread across the first three sides, while Side D features an etched design, giving the release an additional collectible element.
