Seether - The Surface Seems So Far (White Vinyl LP)

The Surface Seems So Far is the ninth studio album from South African rock heavyweights Seether. Released in 2024, the record pushes the band's post-grunge and alternative metal sound in a particularly heavy direction, combining aggressive guitars and powerful hooks with the introspective songwriting that has remained central to Seether throughout their career.

The 11-track album opens with Judas Mind and also features Illusion, Same Mistakes, Lost All Control and Dead On The Vine. While much of the record leans into heavier territory, tracks such as the closing Regret bring a more reflective edge, balancing aggression with the vulnerability that has long characterised Shaun Morgan's songwriting.

The Surface Seems So Far was produced by Shaun Morgan, with Matt Hyde handling recording and mixing and Ted Jensen mastering the album. Featuring Morgan alongside bassist Dale Stewart, drummer John Humphrey and guitarist Corey Lowery, the record followed 2020's Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum and marked the next chapter in Seether's long-running career.

This White Vinyl LP edition presents the complete 11-track album on a single opaque white vinyl record, with six tracks on Side A and five tracks on Side B.
