Teddy Swims - A Very Teddy Christmas (Vinyl EP)

A Very Teddy Christmas is a festive six-track EP from American singer-songwriter Teddy Swims, originally released in 2021. Bringing his unmistakable powerhouse vocals and soulful style to a selection of beloved Christmas classics, Teddy delivers a warm, heartfelt collection that blends traditional holiday music with contemporary soul, R&B and gospel influences.

The EP features Teddy's interpretations of Silent Night, This Christmas and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, alongside Please Come Home for Christmas, O Christmas Tree and The Christmas Song. Each performance showcases his rich, expressive voice, giving these familiar festive favourites a distinctive soulful character.

Recorded with a group of close musical collaborators, A Very Teddy Christmas draws inspiration from the classic soul and Christmas recordings that influenced Teddy Swims throughout his life. The arrangements combine expressive vocals, warm instrumentation and an intimate atmosphere, creating a Christmas record equally suited to relaxed holiday gatherings and quiet evenings at home.

Released before the international success of his breakthrough hit Lose Control, the EP offers an early showcase of the vocal talent and emotional delivery that would later make Teddy Swims a global star. Its combination of timeless songs and contemporary soul makes it a welcome addition to any Christmas vinyl collection.

This official Warner Records vinyl edition presents all six tracks on a single 12-inch vinyl record. Originally released for Record Store Day Black Friday 2021, the EP features three Christmas favourites on each side.
