The Beatles – The Beatles: 1964 U.S. Albums in Mono (Vinyl 8LP Box Set)

The Beatles: 1964 U.S. Albums in Mono celebrates the year Beatlemania conquered America with a deluxe eight-LP vinyl box set featuring seven historic American albums. Released in November 2024, the collection recreates the distinctive US releases that introduced millions of listeners to John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.

Unlike the original British albums, Capitol Records and United Artists assembled their own running orders, artwork and mixes for American audiences. These releases became an essential part of Beatles history, capturing the excitement of the band's breakthrough on the other side of the Atlantic.

Meet the Beatles! opens with I Want to Hold Your Hand, I Saw Her Standing There and This Boy. The Beatles' Second Album delivers the energy of Roll Over Beethoven, Money and She Loves You, while the American A Hard Day's Night soundtrack includes Beatles performances alongside instrumental arrangements from the film.

Something New features Things We Said Today, And I Love Her and I'm Happy Just to Dance with You. The exclusive double album The Beatles' Story documents the phenomenon through interviews, narration and musical excerpts, offering a fascinating period snapshot of Beatlemania.

Beatles '65 includes No Reply, I'm a Loser, I'll Follow the Sun and I Feel Fine. The collection concludes with The Early Beatles, gathering early favourites such as Love Me Do, Twist and Shout and Please Please Me.

For this 2024 anniversary edition, all seven albums were cut from their original mono master tapes using a completely analogue signal path. Mastering engineer Kevin Reeves cut the lacquers at Nashville's East Iris Studios, referencing original American pressings to preserve their character.

Pressed on eight 180g black vinyl LPs, the collection features faithfully reproduced original sleeves and new four-panel inserts with essays by Beatles historian Bruce Spizer. The Beatles' Story double LP is exclusive to this box set, making it especially appealing to dedicated collectors.

Supplied brand new and sealed.
