The Beatles – Yellow Submarine (180g Remastered Vinyl LP)

Yellow Submarine is the tenth studio album from The Beatles, originally released in 1969 as the soundtrack to their celebrated animated film of the same name. Combining classic Beatles recordings with George Martin's orchestral film score, the album captures the colourful, psychedelic spirit of the band's late-1960s period.

Side One features six Beatles songs, including the iconic Yellow Submarine and All You Need Is Love, alongside Hey Bulldog, All Together Now and two George Harrison compositions, Only A Northern Song and It's All Too Much. Side Two is devoted to George Martin's original orchestral score for the film, including Pepperland, Sea Of Time and March Of The Meanies.

Originally accompanying the groundbreaking 1968 animated film, Yellow Submarine occupies a unique place in The Beatles' catalogue. The combination of psychedelic rock, pop songwriting and George Martin's cinematic arrangements creates an album unlike any of the band's other studio releases.

This stereo remastered edition uses the acclaimed 2009 remasters prepared from the original analogue master tapes and is pressed on 180g heavyweight black vinyl. Only A Northern Song is presented in its original mono mix. The release also includes an insert featuring the original American liner notes.
