The Cranberries - Stars: The Best Of 1992-2002 (180g Vinyl 2LP)

Stars: The Best Of 1992–2002 brings together a decade of essential recordings from Irish alternative rock favourites The Cranberries. Originally released in 2002, the collection traces the band's rise from the atmospheric sound of their early records through to the heavier and increasingly diverse music that followed, showcasing Dolores O'Riordan's unmistakable vocals alongside Noel Hogan, Mike Hogan and Fergal Lawler.

The 20-track collection includes many of the band's best-known songs, including Dreams, Linger, Zombie, Ode To My Family, Salvation, When You're Gone, Promises and Animal Instinct. It draws from all five of the Cranberries' studio albums released between 1993 and 2001, making it an excellent overview of their most successful period.

Alongside the established favourites are Daffodil Lament and This Is The Day, plus the previously unavailable songs New New York and Stars. Together, the collection captures the range that made The Cranberries one of the defining alternative rock bands of the 1990s, moving effortlessly between melodic dream-pop, guitar-driven rock and more politically charged material.

This 180g Vinyl 2LP edition was released in 2022 through Island Records. The complete 20-track collection is pressed across two 180g black vinyl records and presented in a gatefold sleeve.
