The Soft Parade is the fourth studio album from The Doors, originally released in 1969. One of the most distinctive records in the band's catalogue, it expanded their psychedelic rock sound with ambitious brass and string arrangements, creating a richer and more orchestrated approach while retaining the dark atmosphere and unpredictable songwriting that defined The Doors.

The nine-track album features some of the band's best-known recordings, including Touch Me, Wild Child, Wishful Sinful and Tell All The People. Other highlights include Shaman's Blues, Runnin' Blue and the sprawling closing title track The Soft Parade.

Produced by Paul A. Rothchild, The Soft Parade saw The Doors experiment more extensively with studio arrangements, adding brass and strings to several songs. The album also marked an increased songwriting contribution from guitarist Robby Krieger, whose compositions include Touch Me, Tell All The People, Runnin' Blue and Wishful Sinful.

This 50th Anniversary Edition features the original album newly remastered in 2019 by longtime Doors engineer and mixer Bruce Botnick. The complete nine-track album is pressed on a 180g black vinyl LP and housed in a gatefold sleeve.
