The Notorious BIG - Ready To Die Instrumentals (Limited Edition RSD Vinyl LP)

Ready To Die: The Instrumentals offers a stripped-back look at the production behind the landmark debut album from The Notorious B.I.G. Released for Record Store Day 2024 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Ready to Die, the collection brings together six instrumental versions of some of Biggie's most celebrated tracks.

The release features the original backing tracks for Big Poppa, One More Chance / Stay With Me, Juicy, Who Shot Ya?, Unbelievable and Warning. Without the vocals, the collection puts the spotlight firmly on the samples, drums and production that helped define the sound of East Coast hip hop during the mid-1990s.

The instrumentals showcase production associated with some of the key names behind Biggie's early recordings, including Easy Mo Bee, DJ Premier, Chucky Thompson and Sean "Puffy" Combs. Together, these tracks provide a different perspective on the music that helped establish The Notorious B.I.G. as one of hip hop's most influential artists.

This limited edition Record Store Day 2024 release marks the first time these instrumental tracks were collected together on a single LP. Limited to 7,500 copies worldwide, the six-track collection is pressed on 140g black vinyl at 45 RPM.

Supplied brand new and sealed.
