Formed in London in 1977, Sting (vocals and bass), Andy Summers (guitar) and Stewart Copeland (drums) created a distinctive blend of rock, reggae, punk and new wave. Their inventive rhythms, atmospheric guitar work and unforgettable songwriting produced some of the era's most enduring singles.

Early favourites Roxanne, Can't Stand Losing You and So Lonely capture the band's restless energy. Message in a Bottle pairs a signature guitar riff with an irresistible chorus, while Walking on the Moon reveals their spacious, reggae-influenced sound.

The collection also features Don't Stand So Close to Me, Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic and the darker Invisible Sun. Later highlights Synchronicity II, King of Pain and Wrapped Around Your Finger showcase their increasingly sophisticated arrangements. Every Breath You Take remains one of the most recognisable songs of the 1980s.

This 2023 remastered reissue presents the complete sixteen-track compilation on two heavyweight 180g black vinyl LPs. Mastered and cut by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios, it is an essential collection for fans of classic rock and new wave.
