Tool – Fear Inoculum (5LP Deluxe Box Set 180g Vinyl Record)

Fear Inoculum marked Tool’s return after a long gap between studio albums. Released in 2019, it builds its power through patient arrangements, shifting metres and the close interaction between guitar, bass and drums, with Maynard James Keenan’s vocals woven into the larger structures.

Pneuma and Invincible develop through recurring figures and gradual changes in intensity, while Descending and 7empest allow the band’s instrumental interplay to stretch further. The shorter electronic pieces provide a different texture between the extended compositions, helping shape the album as a connected listen.

This deluxe edition spreads the music across five 180g records. Each record has music on one side and an etching on the reverse, presented with a hardcover book inside the box.
