Train – Drops Of Jupiter (Limited Edition Bronze Vinyl LP)

Drops of Jupiter is the second studio album from American rock band Train, originally released in 2001. The band's breakthrough record blends melodic rock and pop with soulful vocals and expansive arrangements, establishing Train internationally and producing the enduring title track that became one of the defining songs of their career.

The album features Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me), She's on Fire and Something More, alongside tracks including I Wish You Would, Hopeless and Mississippi. The title track became a major international hit and won two Grammy Awards, including Best Rock Song.

Produced by Brendan O'Brien, Drops of Jupiter combines guitar-driven rock with piano, strings and Pat Monahan's distinctive vocals. The title track is particularly notable for its orchestral arrangement by Paul Buckmaster, helping give the song the sweeping sound that became closely associated with the album.

This Limited Edition Bronze Vinyl LP was released in 2021 to celebrate the album's 20th anniversary and marked the first official vinyl release of Drops of Jupiter. The complete 11-track album is presented across two sides on bronze coloured vinyl.
