Veruca Salt – American Thighs (Remastered 180g Vinyl LP)

American Thighs is the acclaimed debut album from Chicago alternative rock band Veruca Salt, originally released in 1994. Blending distorted guitars, melodic hooks and the intertwined vocals of Nina Gordon and Louise Post, the album became a defining release of the '90s alternative rock era and introduced the band's distinctive mix of grunge-influenced heaviness and power-pop melody.

The album features Veruca Salt's breakthrough single Seether, alongside favourites including All Hail Me, Number One Blind and Victrola. Deeper cuts such as Get Back, Forsythia, Wolf and Twinstar showcase the combination of crunching guitars, sharp songwriting and vocal harmonies that runs throughout the record.

Produced and recorded by Brad Wood in Chicago, American Thighs features the original Veruca Salt line-up of Nina Gordon, Louise Post, Jim Shapiro and Steve Lack. The album's success established the band internationally and helped make Seether one of the defining alternative-rock singles of the mid-'90s.

This official remastered vinyl edition presents the complete 12-track album on 180g black vinyl, released through Minty Fresh.
