William Crighton is an Australian singer-songwriter whose music blends folk, rock, blues and experimental influences with vivid storytelling rooted in the Australian landscape. Raised in small towns across the Riverina in New South Wales, Crighton writes about people, place, history, nature and the complexities of contemporary Australia. His deep vocals and expansive arrangements have helped establish a distinctive style sometimes described as “bush psych”, moving comfortably between intimate folk songwriting and powerful, atmospheric rock.
