Ace Frehley - Origins Volume 2 (Limited Edition RSD Picture Disc Vinyl LP)

Origins Vol. 2 is the second covers album from legendary KISS guitarist Ace Frehley, originally released in 2020. Following 2016's Origins Vol. 1, the album finds the original Spaceman revisiting songs by the artists who helped shape his musical identity, putting his unmistakable guitar sound and hard-rock approach on classics from Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Cream and more.

Highlights include Frehley's takes on Good Times Bad Times, Space Truckin', I'm Down, Jumpin' Jack Flash, Lola and We Gotta Get Out Of This Place. The album also features an impressive group of guests, including John 5 on I'm Down and Politician, Lita Ford on Jumpin' Jack Flash, Cheap Trick's Robin Zander on 30 Days In The Hole and former KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick on Manic Depression.

Origins Vol. 2 serves as both a tribute to Frehley's influences and a showcase for his own distinctive guitar style. From British hard rock and blues rock to psychedelic rock and '60s pop, the collection revisits songs that played an important role in Frehley's musical development while giving each one his own hard-rock treatment.
